Sustainability ambitions in MedTech are increasingly linked to the use of alternative and circular materials. However, their application raises critical questions around material safety, regulatory compliance and long-term risk.
At CBR, we are particularly interested in how these developments impact biocompatibility and toxicological assessment. As sustainability moves beyond design and sourcing, it is becoming a key challenge for safety evaluation and risk management.
This event provides a relevant platform to explore which questions, risks and regulatory considerations are emerging around recycled materials in medical devices – and how biocompatibility expertise can enable safe and compliant circular solutions.
